DARE TO BE DIFFERENT

  MATT 7:13-14

13: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods.

They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, ‘Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems.

I could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty.’

Then the second tree said, ‘Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world.

Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull.’

Finally the third tree said, ‘I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the Hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching.

I will be the greatest tree of all times and people will always remember me..’

After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said,

‘This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter, ‘and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.

At the second tree the woodsman said, ‘This looks like a strong tree. I should be able to sell it to the shipyard.’ The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.

When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true.

One of the Woodsmen said, ‘I don’t need anything special from my tree, I’ll take this one,’ and he cut it down.
When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for.

The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end.

The third tree was cut into large pieces, and left alone in the dark.

The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.

Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree.

The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn’t think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and He stood and said ‘Peace’ and the Storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. The tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.

When things don’t seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him,

Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined.

We don’t always know what God’s plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways.

But His ways are always best ways.

Let us Pray!

ISAISH ;  54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

LOOK AT YOUR SELF : AND ASK WHAT WOULD I DO IF GOD CALL ME??

WHAT IF HE SAID I HAVE A MISSION FOR YOU..

DON’T WEREY ABOUT A THING JUST TRUST ME…?

AND GO WERE I SEND YOU AND SAY WHAT I TELL YOU….

WOULD IT CHANGE YOU…? ARE WOULD YOU LIKE JONAH JUST TRY AND RUN AWAY.. MAYBE YOU BE LIKE  MOSES AND TRY TO ARGUE WITH GOD AND SAY LORD I am NOT THE MAN YOU NEED SEND SOMEONE ELCE…

ARE THERE STILL THOSE WHO DARE TO BE DIFFERENT??????

ARE HAS THE SUBTLE, HYPNOTIC BEAT OF THE DRUM MADE EVERY MAN AN UNWITTING SLAVE.

LIKE IT OR NOT, WE ARE STRANGELY SENSITVE TO THE MYSTERIOUS POWE OF CONFORMITY,

WE STAND IN AWE OF IT .  FASCINATED AND FRIGHTENED BY IT SURGING AND UNSHACKLED CONTROL OF THE MINDS OF MEN…

WE FEAR NOTHING SO MUCH AS TO STAND ALONE,

REJECTED BY POPULAR OPINION…

WHY THIS STRANGE URGE TO CONFORM???

WE MARCH AROUND LIKE ROBOTS, LOST IN THE GROUP, TERRIFIED AT THE THOUGHT OF BEING DIFFERENT…

WHERE IS THE CREATIVE NONCONFORMITY THAT MADE THE HEROES AND MARTYRS OF THE PAST?

WHERE IS THE EXCITEMENT OF TAKING A STAND?

WE SEEM TO BE HYPNOTIZED WITH THE CHILDHOOD GAME OF FOLLOW THE LEADER AND SIMON SAYS…

WERE ARE THE MEN WHO DID NOT FEAR TO STAN UP AND BE COUNTED FOR THE LORD.

MEN LIKE MOSES WHO HAD A MISSION FROM GOD?  WHO STOUD BEFORE PHARAOH KING OF EGYPT AND SAID..

THUS SAY THE LORD  THE GREAT I AM, LET MY PEOPLE GO..

STORY: MOSES  (WHO WAS THIS MOSES)   LORD NOT ME SEND SOMEONE ELCE I CAN NOT TALK…

MOSES:  WAS JUST A MAN LIKE ENY OTHER..  BUT HE WAS WILLING TO LET GOD USE HIM

WERE ARE THE MEN LIKE MOSES TO DAY

STORY: ABRAHEM   CALL OUT FROM HIS KIM FOKE TO A LAND GOD WOULD GIVE HIM.

IF GOD CALLED WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR HOME AND YOUR FAMILY AND GO SOME PLACE ELSE .

MAYBE GOD WILL CALL YOU TO PREACH HIS WORD IN ANOTHER CITY OR STATE OR COUNTRY..

ABRAHEM  WAS GIVING A PROMASS OF A SON. THAT HIS SEED WOULD BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA.

AND NOT UNTILL HE WAS WELL OVER 100 AND HIS WIFE IN HER 90 DID HE HAVE THE PROMASS SON

GOD TOLD ABRAHEM TO GO TO A PLACE THAT HE WILL SHOW HIM AND THERE TO SACKREFICE HIS SON…

FINISH STORY::: ABRAHAM    HE DID NOT QUESTION GOD

HE DID WHAT GOD TOLD HIM TO DO.

STORY: THE SON WAS WILLING HE WAS A STRONG YOUNG MAN

BUT THIS YOUNG MAN LEARNRD FROM HIS EARTHLY FATHER ABOUT HIS HEAVENLY FATHER  AND IN OBEDIENCE WAS WILLING TO GIVE HIS LIFE.

AS HE LAY THERE AND ABRAHEM READY TO TAKE HIS LIFE THE ANGLE STOP HIM

JESUS WAS WILLING TO GIVE HIS LIFE…  BUT NO ONE WOULD STOP THE HAND OF GILTY MAN FROM KILLING HIM

WERE ARE THE MEN LIKE ABRAHEM

WAS IT NOT THE PROPHET ELIJAH  WHO TOLD THE PEOPLE FROM THE TOP OF MOUNT CARMEL

CHOOS YE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE  GOD OR MAN

DID THE PROPLE REALY FORGET WHO GOD WAS ..

MAYBE SERVING THE LORD GOD WAS NOT THE FAD AT THAT TIME.

THEY WERE SO DECEIVED BY POPULAR OPEION THAT THEY COULD NOT TELL      RIGHT FROM WRONG        DAY FROM NIGHT

            TRUE FROM FALSE

HOW COULD THIS BE.? NOT GODS PEOPLE…

THE MAJORITY, IT SEEMS HAS SELDOME BEEN RIGHT.

THE MAJORITY, EXCEPT FOR EIGHT PEOPLE REJECTED TRUTH IN THE DAYS OF NOAH

STORY: NOAH            NOAH STOOD ALONE WITH A MESSAGE FROM GOD

Animal listen to the Voice of God more then those who were created in the Image of God.

HE PREACH OF GODS LOVE AND A SOON COMING DISTRUCTION.

GOD WAS GOING TO DISTROY THE EARTH WITH A FLOOD

GEN, 6:6 GOD REPENTED AND WAS GRIEVED IN HIS HEART THAT HE MADE MAN..   THE EVEL WAS SO GREAT IN THE EARTH.

A FLOOD::::: PUBLIC OPINION SAID IT COULD NEVER HAPPEN..

IT DID NOT STOP NOAH….    NOT FOR THE NEXT 120 YEAR

HE PREACH FAITHFULY THE MESSISH GOD GAVE HIM

MANY PEOPLE WANTED TO GO IN THE ARK

MANY BELIEVE WHAT NOAH WAS PREACHING.

BUT BECAUSE   “PUBLIC OPINION”  YOU SEE..

1. NO ONE WENT FIRST

2. I DON’T WON’T ANY ONE TO LAUHTH AT ME.

3. IT HAS NEVER RAIN BEFORE.

4. THE LEADER DON’T BELIVE HIM

5. DAD SAID HE IS A CRAZY OLD MAN

6. NO ONE BUILD A BOAT WERE THERE IS NO WATER

7. HE FORGOT TO PUT A RUDDER ON HIS BOAT

8. IT WILL NEVER FLOAT.

TRUTH IN ELIJAH DAYS WAS SO UNPOPULAR THAT HE COMPLAINED TO GOD THAT HE ALONE WAS LEFT.

AND THE SEVEN THOUSAND LOYAL HEARTS OF WHOM HE WAS REMINDED WERE A PITIFULLY SMALL MINORITY.

THERE WAS LITTLE DIFFERENT IN THE DAYS OF MARTIN LUTHER..

IT TOOK COURAGE FOR MARTIN LUTHER TO STAND ALONE BEFOR THE COUNCIL THAT CALLED HIM TO ACCOUNT, AND DEMANDED THAT HE RECANT

BUT HIS WORDS RANG CLEAR AND STRONG..

AND FEARLESS INTO THE EARS OF HIS ENEMIES;

I CAN NOT, AND I WILL NOT,    HERE I STAND,  I CAN DO NO OTHER….

THE BIBLE HAS MANY STORY ABOUT MEN AND WOMAN WHO STOUD UP AGENTS THE POPERLAR OPINION

FROM ENOCH TO ESTHER       THE 12 APOSTLES AND CHRISTION CHURCH OF THE FIRST 3 CENTURE.

ALL STOUD FOR THE LORD, MANY PAID THE PRICE WITH THEIR LIFE FOR WHAT THERE BELIVE.

WE CANNOT EXPECT RIGHT & TRUTH TO COME TO US CHRISTENED AND BLESSED BY PUBLIC OPINION..

JESUS SAID;

ENTER YE IN AT THE STRAIT GATE:  FOR WIDE IS THE GATE, AND BROAD IS THE WAY, THAT LEADETH TO DESTRUCTION, AND MANY THERE BE WHICH GO IN.

BECAUSE STRAIT IS THE GATE, AND NARROW IS THE WAY, WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIFE AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT… MATT 7:13-14

RIGHT CANNOT BE DETERMINED BY STATISICS. TRUTH CAN NEVER BE MEASURED BY THE NUMBER WHO ARE WILLING TO FOLLOW OR BELIVED IT….

A WAY MAY BE POPULAR… BUT IT MAY ALSO BE WRONG….

THERE IS A WAY WHICH SEEMETH RIGHT UNTO A MAN,

BUT THE END THEREOF ARE THE WAYS OF DEATH.. PROVERBS 14;12

WHAT IS IT THAT WE FEAR?

BECAUSE WE  BELIVE THAT GOD WILL NOT WORK WITH US THE SAME WAY HE HAS WITH OTHER IN THE BIBLE…

PREHAP WE FEAR WE DON’T HAVE THE FAITH OR WE ARE NOT STRONG ENHUFF TO CARRY OUT THE WORK..

WE FEAR WHAT PEOPLE MAY SAY OR MAY LAFT AT US.

IN EVERY AGE THERE HAS ALWAYS BEN A PEOPLE, WHO DISPITE POPULAR OPINION HAS REMAIN TRUE TO THE LAWS OF GOD….

STORY:::: PROFESSOF AND THE STUDENT THE CHARK TEST

HOW MANY OF YOU BELIVED THAT THERE IS A GOD RASE YOUR HAND.. ABOUT ½ WELL WE ARE GIONG TO TEST TO SEE IF IT SO      FINISH STORY::

HOW MANY OF US WOULD STAN UP FOR JESUS AT THE COST OF OUR LIFE. IT IS A HARD QUESTION, BUT SOME DAY YOU WILL HAVE TO ANSWER IT.

IN THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY SISTER WHITE WRITES

THE SPIRIT OF COMPROMISE AND CONFORMILY WAS RESTRAINED FOR A TIME BY THE FIERCE PERSECUTIONS, WHICH THE CHURCH ENDURED UNDER PAGANISM.

BUT AS PERSCUTION CEASED, AND CHRISTIANITY ENTERED THE COURTS AND PALACES OF KINGS.

SHE LAID ASIDE THE HUMBLE SIMPLICITY OF CHRIST AND HIS APOSTLES, FOR THE POMP AND PRIDE OF PAGAN PRIESTS AND RULERS.

AND IN PLACE OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF GOD SHE SUBSTITUTED HUMAN THEORIES AND TRADITRONS

IN EVERY AGE THERE WERE WITNESSES FOR GOD. MEN WHO CHERISHED FAITH IN CHRIST AS THE ONLY MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN.

WHO HELD THE BIBLE AS THE ONLY RULE OF LIFE…?

IS THIRE ENY REASION TO FEAR TO DAY WHAT MEN MY SAY OR DO

WE ARE THE GENORATION THAT WILL SOON SEE ALL THE PROPHCY FORFILL

THE BIBLE SAID, “AS IT WAS IT THE DAYS OF NOAH SO SHALL IT BE IN THE END”

THE WORLD DID NOT BELIVIED WHAT NOAH TOLD THEM

SO IT WILL NOT BELIVIED WHAT WE WILL SAY

THE FACT IS GOD TOLD NOAH TO PREACH, AND HE DID FOR 120 YEAR

WARNE THE PEOPLE OF WHAT IS TO COME..

GOD HAS TOLD US TO PREACH TO THIS END TIME PEOPLE WARNE THEM OF WHAT IS SOON COMING, SO THAT THIRE BLOOD MAY NOT BE ON OUR HEADS.

We may Plan for our Future in many different ways, but when you don’t see it going the way you would like it, don’t be discourage.

God may have another plan in mind for you much better then you could imagine

he just needs people who are willing to be used and are willing to be different.

God Bless
